Llanegryn is nestled between Carder Idris and Bird Rock and the sea in an area of outstanding natural beauty with some truly magnificent views. Whether you are looking for an active holiday or just to unwind and relax, Llanegryn will not disappoint.

A number of beaches in close proximity the nearest being 2 miles away. The seaside town of Tywyn is 3 miles away and is ideal for swimming or just a gentle stroll along the promenade. The Dysynni leisure centre is situated in the heart of the town with its swimming pool , gym and various sports centres

For walkers and climbers there are many walks to be taken from the village be it a gentle stroll along the lanes , or , for the more energetic , through the surrounding hills. Other locations to visit - Cader Idris and the Arans. More information can be obtained from the local tourist board. Other places of beauty are Dolgoch Falls, Talyllyn Lake , a drive along the coast road towards Llwyngwril will in itself offer breathtaking views. During the day you can see across to Barmouth but to watch the sun setting on a summer's evening is something not to be missed !

Aberdovey boasts a superb 18 hole championship golf course which is only a 10m minute drive away

The nearest supermarket is in Tywyn - 3 miles although there is a village shop in Bryncrug -1 mile. A supply of groceries can be made available on arrival by arrangement with the owner. There are plenty of cafes , restaurants in the area but it is advisable to book a table during the summer season. There is an information pack on arrrival which provides lots of local telephone numbers of local hotels, restaurants , taxi firms etc .

Being surrounded by mountains , mobile phone reception is very poor and intermittent.. You can normaly obtain a signal to make an outgoing call from a mobile in the conservatory and there is an incoming call only phone in the twin bedroom. Otherwise there is a phone box in the village.
